Bermuda - Day Two and Day Three

Went on a half-a-day sightseeing adventure today. Took the ferry to the dockyard, visited a few shops, took the bus to the lighthouse where we walked up 185 steps. Took longer to walk down because Alyssa can walk up but now down. Go figure. Took a taxi to Horseshoe Bay which was only a quarter mile from the lighthouse, but after walking all those steps, was a treat. We only stayed a few minutes because we had to make it back to Hamilton in time for our set-up at Cedar bridge Academy. Came back from setting up and had dinner at Greg's Steakhouse - yummy! Finally got to bed at 2:00 a.m. and up at 6:00 a.m. to print off the registration list.

Taxi's were waiting for us at 7:30 a.m. Got everything in order and the kids started flowing through the doors at 8:15. We were busy all day. We finally got back to our hotel at 4:30 and are now waiting to be picked up at 6:15 for a barbecue at the Dunstan residence. Can't wait to just RELAX!

Funny side story - we set the alarm for 5:55 a.m. so I could at least brush my teeth before going to the business center with Amanda to print out my forms.  Amanda called at 7:09 saying she tapped on my door, but guess I didn't hear it. I did a double take at the clock and woke the girls up - they had 20 minutes to get ready and be down in the lobby. I get to the business center and wonder, it's pretty quiet in the hotel, what time is it really? Amanda wouldn't wake me up 20 minutes before our pick-up time. It was 6:15! Tried calling the girls but the phone was placed in the cradle wrong so it rang busy. By the time I caught up with them they had been in the lobby for 10 minutes wondering where everyone was.  What confused them more - the taxis were already waiting for us. They wondered when Mr. Magic, our personal taxi driver, said they were down early. Nothing like jump starting your morning!
